OVERVIEW

The daily use of an antioxidant scavenges free radicals in the skin. These small molecules are caused by sun exposure and cause cellular damage, which can lead to skin cancer, wrinkles, and skin discoloration. The most important ones are: 1) Vitamin C (not all are equal and we have picked products that penetrate the skin and dermis much better than ascorbic acid, in addition, they must be in a non-esterfied form & acidic pH), 2) Vitamin E (not all are equal just as Vitamin C), 3) Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), 4) Glutathione (aka NAG, very helpful for melasma), 5) 5% Green Tea or 90% Polyphenols with Caffeine, 6) Resveratrol (from red wine), 7) Idebenone (CoQ), 8 ) Coffeeberry, 9) Isoflavones or Saponins (from soy)
