Dr. Megan Brown graduated at the top of her class at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and was then accepted to the highly competitive medical/surgical internship at the University of Texas Southwestern – Austin (now Dell Medical Center) and the prestigious University of California San Diego Dermatology Residency Program where she received state-of-the-art training in medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Brown is the author of over 12 publications, and has lectured at multiple conferences across the United States. She has also participated in medical exchange work in Spain, Chile, and during her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. For her academic and humanitarian excellence, Dr. Brown is one of a select group of physicians to be awarded a National Public Health Service Award and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies.
In addition to Dr. Brown’s extensive training in medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology, she has sought out additional training in the field of medical and surgical hair restoration and is a member of the of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and painting. Dr. Brown credits her upbringing in the beautiful state of New Mexico to developing her love of the Spanish language and culture. Dr. Brown is known for her kind bedside manner, knowledgeable approach to skincare, and dedication to making sure her patients look and feel their best.
